The Honorable Bruce D. Stewart, Presiding Justice of the Fifth District Appellate Court in Mt. Vernon, applauds as the statue of the nation's 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, is unveiled during a ceremony on the Appellate Court lawn Thursday afternoon. The Mt. Vernon Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Committee, spearheaded by Mark Hassakis, center, commissioned artist Alan Cottrill to complete the statue.
