Local historians Sid Milliner, right, and Bob Pemberton presented a program entitled “The Tragic Life of the Cherokee Indian” at the Jefferson County Historical Village on Saturday. The two have become well-known for their presentations, which use the interview-style to portray characters from history. Pemberton interviewed Milliner in his portrayal of Richard Taylor, who led the 11th detachment of the Cherokees on the Trail of Tears.
