Three people were taken to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Wednesday after a two-car collision at Main and Sixth Streets. The accident was reported at about 12:15 p.m., and noon-time traffic was slowed as vehicles heading into the city were forced to merge into one lane as directed by Mt. Vernon Police officers. No other details were available by press time about the accident.
