Arrests
- Brenten M. Fortner, 21, of Allendale, was arrested Tuesday at 10:21 p.m. on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Darrick L. Moore, 33, of the 500 block of South 19th Street, was arrested Tuesday at 10:21 p.m. on a charge of aggravated battery in a public place.
Thefts
- Police responded to a report of a theft of an Xbox 360 hard drive in the 1000 block of Pace Avenue at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday.
- A resident in the 2500 block of Casey Avenue told police someone stole items from their residence at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
- Tuesday at 9:50 a.m., police responded to a report of an unspecified theft in the 700 block of South 22nd Street.
- A resident in the 100 block of Edgewood Drive told police someone stole money from their residence at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday.
Incidents
- An employee of a business in the 2700 block of Broadway told police at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday that a man jumped out from behind a Dumpster, brandishing a gun.
- Police responded to a report of a fight at Geo’s Gas Station Lounge at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday.
- Tuesday at 8:34 a.m., a resident near the intersection of Ninth and Cleveland streets told police someone set a fire in a closet.
- Police responded to a report of the sound of gunshots near the intersection of Sixth and Harrison Streets at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday.

- Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property at a residence on Illinois Highway 148 near the Jefferson/Franklin County line at 3:20 p.m. Friday.
- A resident in the 2600 block of North Log Cabin Lane in Bonnie told police someone broke into a barn at 11:31 a.m. Saturday.
- After someone called police at 8:19 p.m. Saturday reporting the sound of gunshots in the 11800 block of East Normandy Road, police discovered someone was shooting a paintball gun in a garage.
- Police responded to a report of the sound of gunshots in the 12100 block of Idlewood Drive at 1:22 a.m. Sunday.
- A resident in the 1000 block of Olin Lane told police someone broke into their house at 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
- Monday at 7:56 p.m., a resident in the 6000 block of Abbott Lane told police someone drove through the yard, causing rutting.
- A vehicle parked in the 16500 block of North Blue Jay Lane was damaged, reported a caller at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday.
