Thefts

  • Police responded to a report that the daughter of a resident in the 3200 block of Lime Avenue took a vehicle without permission at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A resident in the 400 block of North 10th Street told police someone stole wiring from her residence at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday.

Incidents

  • A resident near the intersection of Highland View and Wilshire Drive told police they heard the sound of four gunshots at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Tuesday at 12:28 p.m., a resident in the 800 block of South 21st Street told police someone broke into the house.
  • An employee at the Spot Tavern at 1616 Shawnee told police someone tampered with the north door to the establishment and threw a brick at the south door at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. The employee also said the gas meter was pulled out of the ground.
