Arrests

Reginald L. Norris, 25, of Chicago, was arrested Saturday at 6:36 p.m. on charges of possession of cannabis and contempt of court. Bond was set at $4,000.

Suni Muhammad, 38, of Chicago, was arrested Saturday at 10:35 a.m. on two charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $45,000.

Molly Ledbetter, 17, of the 17000 block of North Illinois Highway 37, was arrested Friday at 10:16 a.m. on a charge of criminal damage to state-supported property. Bond was set at $1,000.

Thefts

Sunday at 5:22 p.m., police responded to a report of a theft in the 18700 block of East Liberty Road, Opdyke. According to police reports, someone stole a three-gallon propane tank from a grill.

Incidents

Saturday at 12:12 a.m., police responded to a report of mischievous activity in the 11800 block of East Normandy Road. Accord-ing to police reports, several people made threats and stole items from residents in the area.

Fires

Saturday at 9:22 a.m., police and Jefferson County Fire responded to a report of a fire in the 17100 block of North Puckett Lane. According to reports, a trailer used for storage caught fire.

Arrests

Larry A. Ellis, 41, of the 500 block of North Street, was arrested Sunday at 11:18 p.m. on charges of domestic battery/ bodily harm and resisting a peace officer.

Jesse D. Callahan, 34, of Dix, was arrested Sunday at 1:39 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic instrument and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mindy D. Callahan, 30, of Dix, was arrested at 12:51 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic instrument and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anthony N. Pierce, 25, of Dix, was arrested Sunday at 1:17 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine, armed violence and possession of cannabis.

Torrence D. Jones, of the 100 block of North 13th Street, was arrested Saturday at 9:04 p.m. on a charge of armed robbery. Bond was set at $75,000.

Vincent P. Rush, 23, of the 500 block of South 17th Street, was arrested Saturday at 6:52 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $20,000.

Areche L. Diggs, 23, of Cape Coral, Fla., was arrested Saturday at 6:20 a.m. on a charge of armed robbery. Bond was set at $75,000.

Micheal J. Allison, 18, of Cape Coral, Fla., was arrested Saturday at 5:37 a.m. on charge of possession of cannabis and contraband in a penal institution. Bond was set at $50,000.

Lea A. Lockwood, 43, of the 100 block of Rufus Street, was arrested Friday at 5:28 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,000.

Walter S. Grimes, 36, of the 800 block of South 19th Street, was arrested Friday at 5:11 p.m. on charges of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,000.

Dustin L. Phemister, 20, of the 2700 block of South 28th Street, was arrested Monday at 1:38 a.m. on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $1,000 and Phemister was released.

Brittany N. Campbell, 26, of St. Louis, was arrested Sunday at 1:03 p.m. on charges of contempt of court and driving with a suspended license. Bond was set at $4,000 and Campbell was released.

Ian J. Johnson, 21, of the 18300 block of North Hails Lane, was arrested Sunday at 2:17 a.m. on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $1,000 and Johnson was released.

William H. Penrod, 27, of the 1200 block of Wilkins Street, was arrested Sunday at 12:23 a.m. on a charge of driving with a suspended/revoked license. Bond was set at $1,000 and Penrod was released.

Cleshae Parker-Brantley, 19, of Opdyke, was arrested Saturday at 8:28 p.m. on charges of possession of cannabis and retail theft and an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $3,500 and Parker-Brantley was released.

Nila M. Hughes, 22, of Marion, was arrested Saturday at 8:18 p.m. on a charge of retail theft. Bond was set at $1,000 and Hughes was released.

Thefts

Police responded to a report of a theft at the Melody Shop Monday at 10:37 a.m. According to police reports, a cab taking someone to the courthouse reported their passenger didn’t pay their fare.

Monday at 10:47 a.m., police responded to a report of a theft at King City Answering Service. According to reports, someone’s e-mail address was used fraudulently.

Incidents

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief at Logan Street Baptist Church at 7:08 p.m. Sunday. According to police reports, someone broke a car window.

Monday at 10:40 a.m., police responded to a report of deceptive practices in the 1000 block of South 20th Street. According to reports, someone had been given counterfeit bills.
