Arrests
Jason P. Hunt, 29, of the 200 block of North Fifth Street, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $3,000 and Hunt was released.
Accidents
Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Illinois Highway 37 and Hutchinson Road Monday at 6:57 a.m. Emily J. Flanagan, 55, of the 17200 block of North Old Salem Lane, was headed southbound on Illinois Highway 37 when she slowed to turn right onto Hutchinson Road. According to police reports, Flanagan’s vehicle was struck by the vehicle of Jared L. Stroup, 19, of Iuka. Stroup was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no proof of insurance and expired registration, accroding to police reports.

Arrests
Rick Cooper, 27, of the 1200 block of Jones Street, was arrested Wednesday at 11:12 p.m. on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $5,000.
Megan R. Stroud, 17, of the 100 block of Casey Avenue, was arrested Wednesday at 9:51 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.
Keith L. Harris, 39, of the 600 block of South 16th Street, was arrested Wednesday at 3:35 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $7,500.
Michael L. Blakemore of the 1000 block of Herbert Street, was arrested Thursday at 1:18 a.m. on a charge of contempt of court and an in-state warrant. Blakemore was released.
Edward E. Oats, 34, of the 1600 block of South 15th Street, was arrested Wednesday at 3:38 p.m. on a charge of manufac-ture/delivery of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school. Bond was set at $25,000 and Oats was released.
Thefts
Thursday at 1:18 a.m., police responded to a report of a theft at Travel Centers of America. Someone stole a radio/CD player, according to police reports.
Thursday at 12:02 p.m., police responded to a report of a theft in the 200 block of Harrison Street. Someone’s medication was stolen, according to police reports.
Incidents
Wednesday at 6:02 p.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Jones Street. A vehicle had been broken into, according to police reports.
Police responded to a report of a burglary Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wescott Street. According to police reports, someone broke into a vehicle on Monday night.
Thursday at 8:52 a.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Jones Street. According to police report, someone broke into a vehicle.
Thursday at 10:25 a.m., police responded to a report of property damage at Future Kids Preschool. Someone put trash in drainage pipes, according to police reports.
Thursday at 10:33 a.m., police responded to a report of property damage in the 600 block of South 17th Street. According to police reports, someone broke into a house and rifled through the items there.
Thursday at 12:16 p.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1500 block of Pace Avenue. Somone stole copper wires from a heating system, according to police reports.
Police responded to a report of criminal mischief Thursday at 4:59 p.m. in the 300 block of North Fourth Street. Someone shot a bb gun at a residence, according to police reports.
