Arrests

George F. Miller, 36, of Cameron, Mo., was arrested Friday at 5:24 p.m. on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $15,000.

Jeremy A. Terry, 24, of the 300 block of Castleton Street, was arrested Thursday at 4:40 p.m. on charges of contempt of court and escape. Bond was set at $103,000.

Robbie L. Craig, 48, of Vandalia, was arrested Sunday at 11:11 a.m. on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $3,000.

Thefts

Monday at 3:36 p.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 21100 block of East Sixth Road, Bluford. Someone had stolen copper wires from a residence, according to police reports.

Sunday at 11:41 p.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the East Brink Road area in Centralia. According to police reports, someone had broken into a residence and stolen a TV and other items.

Police responded to a report of a theft Saturday at 12:25 p.m. in the 19000 block of North Green Acres Lane. Someone stole a metal support rod from a dock, according to police reports.

Friday at 5:42 p.m., police responded to a report of a theft in the 300 block of North East Road, Bluford. A chainsaw was stolen, according to police reports.

Incidents

Tuesday at 9:41 a.m., police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 400 block of East Jefferson Avenue, Nason. A mailbox was broken and thrown into a ditch, according to police reports.

Tuesday at 9:52 a.m., police responded to a report of fraud in the 23000 block of North Krupp Lane, Walnut Hill. According to police reports, someone received a piece of mail claiming to be from a meter reading company, but when a resident contacted his or her electric company, they were told it was not legitimate.

Police responded to a report of trespassing Tuesday at 12:27 p.m. in the 2300 block of Walnut Hill Road, Walnut Hill. People are trespassing and tearing down “no trespass” signs, according to police reports.

Monday at 1:05 p.m., police responded to a report of battery at Woodlawn High School. One student had battered another, according to police reports.

Monday at 5:25 a.m., police responded to a report of stray animals in the 3700 block of Log Cabin Lane. According to police reports, a resident discovered six horses in his yard.

Sunday at 3:07 p.m., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 17200 block of East Illinois Highway 142. According to police reports, someone had broken into an office and rifled through items there.

Saturday at 6:21 p.m., police responded to a report of hunting without landowner’s permission in the North Dove Lane area in Bluford.

Saturday at 2:13 p.m., police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 18400 block of East Silence Road. A mailbox was destroyed, according to police reports.

Arrests

Scott M. Williman, 20, of Chicago, was arrested Saturday at 4:44 a.m. on a charge of speeding 40 or more miles over the limit. Bond was set at $2,000.

Jessie J. Queen, 23, of the 4000 block of Garden Glen, was arrested Friday at 8:43 p.m. on a charge of retail theft. Bond was set at $1,000.

Donna M. Krugler, 42, of the 1000 block of North Seventh Street, was arrested Friday at 5:51 p.m. on charges of retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Clinton E. Welch, 27, of the 15100 block of North Tolle Lane, was arrested Friday at 10:19 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended/revoked license. Bond was set at $50,000.
