Arrests
Paul T. Wilcoxen, 29, no address listed, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Saturday on charges of domestic battery and reckless driving. Wilcoxen was released on $5,000 bond.
Damon T. Owens, 37, of Chandler, Texas, was arrested at 8:56 p.m. Monday on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond for Owens was set at $3,000.
Adam V. Phillipi, 32, of the 8700 block of North Goshen Lane, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of home invasion and an in-state warrant.
Incidents
1:57 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of two males fighting in the 16800 block of North Illinois Highway 37.
Tuesday at 4:17 a.m., police responded to a report of an attempted break in in the 1800 block of Harlan Road.
Police responded to a report that several people were riding 4-wheelers and throwing snow off an overpass 2:21 p.m. Monday on the railroad bridge over I-64 east bound.
11:47 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report that someone broke into a residence in the 11100 block of East Webb Road.
Police responded to a report that someone in the 17700 block of East Hawk Road heard the sound of 16-20 gunshots 11:57 p.m. Saturday.
Saturday at 4:32 p.m., police responded to a report of two shirtless males fighting in the parking lot of Nave’s Party Supplies.
Accidents
One person was transported to Crossroads Community Hospital after a one-vehicle accident Monday at 1:36 a.m. Jason J. Longhauser, 22, of Woodlawn, was driving east bound on Bakerville Road when he tried to slow down to drive the curve onto North Brown Lane. Snowy conditions caused Longhauser’s vehicle to slide off the road into a deep creek, according to police reports. The vehicle was carrying three passengers, one of which, Stephanie R. Zienta, 19, of Dubois, was transported to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Fires
Jefferson Fire Protection District, Bluford Fire Department and Mt. Vernon Fire Department fire fighters responded to a report of a barn on fire 7:53 p.m. Saturday on Lynchberg Road west of Coral Road in Bluford.

Arrests
Michael T. Braden, 24, of the 300 block of South Elm Street, Ina, was arrested at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday on charges of burglary and possession of cannabis.
Thefts
Police responded to a report in the 500 block of Main Street, that a person was making a bank deposit when he or she was approached by a person with a weapon and stole the deposit 8:48 p.m. Monday.
Incidents
Police responded to a report that a red dog with a red collar was chasing children 7:36 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of South 20th Street.
3:52 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a damaged mailbox and possibly stolen mail in the 800 block of North 27th Street.
Monday at 8:17 p.m., police responded to a report of a man carrying a steak knife at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital.
Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 1800 block of East Harlan Road at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday.
