Charlotte M. Elion, 42, of the 300 block of Casey Avenue, was arrested at 8:17 a.m. Thursday on a charge of violating bail. Bond was set at $5,000.
Stacy Ann Ellis, 37, of the 300 block of Spruce Drive, was arrested at 3:57 p.m. Thursday on charges of methamphetamine precursor and manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $150,000.
Gregory Wayne Coomes, 37, of the 1200 block of South 27th Street, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. Thursday on charges of methamphetamine precursor and manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $150,000.
D Angelo Ray Blount, 25, of the 800 block of Pace Avenue, was arrested around 6 p.m. Thursday on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of cannabis between 10 and 30 grams. Bond was set at $20,000.
Incidents
Fireworks were reported at 7:06 p.m. Thursday at the corner of Third Street and Casey Ave. Police ordered the people firing them to stop.
Possible gunshots were reported at 8:05 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Jordan Street.
Police received a report at 10:50 p.m. of three loose dogs described as pitbulls chasing people in the 900 block of South 24th Street. A neighbor of the dogs’ owner told police he witnessed two people being chased, one of them a teenager. The animal warden was notified, according to police reports.
A battery was reported at 2:35 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Seventh Street.

Christopher S. Campbell, 22, of the 700 block of Main Street, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. Thursday on a charge of violating bail. Bond was set at $5,000.
Jeffery Joseph Baham, 41, of the 200 block of West Third Street, was arrested at 5:51 p.m. Thursday on charges of aggravated intimidation of a police officer and aggravated domestic battery.
Theft
A burglary was reported at 1:48 p.m. Friday in the 16500 block of North Illinois Highway 37. According to police reports, a dog inside the residence was beaten, and items stolen from the residence have been posted on Facebook.
