South Water Tower Place opens
South Water Tower Place, which will now connect 42nd Street with 34th Street, is now open to the public after a ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Monday morning. Mayor Mary Jane Chesley said construction of the new street was a team effort, and all construction work was done by the public works department.
