Arrests
- Byron M. Wyatt, 18, of Evansville, Ind., was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Sunday on a charge of contempt of court. Wyatt was released.
- Samuel T. Allali, 22, of the 1900 block of Richview Road, was arrested at 10:02 a.m. Sunday on a charge of manufacturing or delivering cannabis. Bond was set at $10,000. Allali was released.
- Michael Henry Sauls, 20, of the 9000 block of North Goshen Lane, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and manufacturing or delivering a schedule 3 substance.
- Robert Brent Visser, 27, of the 1200 block of South 12th Street, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. Friday on a charge of possession of a narcotic instrument.
- David L. Puckett, 32, of the 19100 block of East Third Street in Opdyke, was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Friday on a charge of resisting a peace officer. Puckett was released.
Thefts
- Two shoplifters were reported at Kroger at 8:24 a.m. Monday. The suspects were arrested.
- A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of South 26th Street at 12:13 p.m. Sunday.
- A shoplifter was reported at the Mitchell Museum as part of the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts Craft Fair at 1:49 p.m. Saturday.
- A theft was reported at Steppin’ Out Disco at 1:48 p.m. Friday.
Incidents
- A fight at Corner Tavern was reported at 12:47 a.m. Sunday.
- A woman told police at 7:54 p.m. Saturday her tires were slashed while her vehicle was parked in the 1600 block of Casey Avenue.
- A fight was reported at 1:05 p.m. Saturday at Taco Bell.
- A three-vehicle motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Broadway and 42nd Streets at 4:29 p.m. Friday. The three vehicles were traveling in succession westbound on Broadway when the first slowed to turn and the second, a truck struck it from behind. The third, a sport utility vehicle, struck the truck and pushed it into the front vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital for treatment.
- A two-vehicle accident at 10th Street and North Street was reported at 3:10 p.m. Friday. A car traveling southbound on North Street failed to yield at the intersection with 10th and struck another car heading east in the side. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

Arrests
- Casey Scott Catalfano, 24, of the 100 block of South Ninth Street in Belle Rive, was arrested at 1:6 a.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.
- Joella Allison, 42, of the 16500 block of North Illinois Highway 37, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. Friday on a charge of domestic battery.
- Michael J. Allison, 40, of the 16500 block of North Illinois Highway 37, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct. Allison was released.
- Thomas A. Hullinger, 52, of the 600 block of South 18th Street, was arrested at 8:42 a.m. Friday on a charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license. Hullinger was released.
Thefts
- Several items were reported stolen from the property holding a WMIX tower on East Radio Tower Road at 7:42 a.m. Sunday.
- Theft was reported in the 500 block of South Central Street in Woodlawn at 4:47 p.m. Friday.
Incidents
- Several mailboxes in the 15200 block of East Knox Road were reported damaged at 6:41 p.m. Saturday.
- A man reportedly crashed an all-terrain vehicle on East Beal Road at 4:43 p.m. Saturday. The man was transported to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
- Two mailboxes and several newspaper boxes were reported damaged on North Lodge Lane in Scheller at 7:25 a.m. Saturday.
Fires
- A field fire was reported in the 17700 block of North Boyd Lane at 3:23 p.m. Sunday.
- A grass fire was reported at 5:06 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Eagle Court.
