MT. VERNON — The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Rend Lake College and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council have teamed up to offer an Illinois Unemployment Workshop on May 20.
The morning session will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and will offer an overview of the Illinois unemployment process for employees and employers. The afternoon session will provide an overview of the appeals process and will begin at 1 p.m., concluding by 3 p.m.
The workshop will be presented by representatives of the Illinois Department of Employment Security. This program is free of charge; however, seats are limited. To register, contact Nick LeMay at 242-5813 or by e-mail at lemayn@rlc.edu.
