A three-vehicle accident with injuries has snarled traffic downtown for those attending tonight's fireworks display at the airport. Traffic is being routed around the downtown square as the accident took place at roughly 6:15 p.m. in front of the Register-News. One vehicle crashed into the southwest corner of the courthouse lawn while another came to a stop on the sidewalk in front of the newspaper.
