Frick honored

Sandra Frick, County Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency, was recently honored and awarded her 30 year Certificate. Don Rheinecker, USDA District Director, is pictured presenting the certificate. Mrs. Frick started working for the USDA, which services the Jefferson County farming community, in 1978 as a program technician. She was accepted into the County Officers Training Program in 1994 and was subsequently hired by the Jefferson County Committee in March 1995 to serve this county as the director. Mrs. Frick is a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and has served on the Jefferson Co. Extension Counsel, the Waltonville School Board, and continues to be involved in area charity work in addition to taking care of a family and staying involved with her son's school activities.
