The American Red Cross has scheduled blood drives for the month of February in Jefferson County.
Farrington Grade School in Bluford will be hosting a drive from 3 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 2; Ina Grade School will hold a drive from 3 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 4.
Crossroads Community Hospital will host a drive in memory of local radio personality Tom Sheldon from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 5.
J.L. Buford Intermediate Center will host a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 11; a blood drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the Dix Community Center as well.
A blood drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the St. Mary’s Church Parish Center; First Baptist Church of Woodlawn will host a drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 13. The Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois will host a drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 18, and St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital will host a drive from 11 am. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 20. The Medicine Shoppe in Mt. Vernon will host a blood drive from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.
All presenting donors will receive a Sonic coupon.
