MT. VERNON —
Russell L. Sledge, 62, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 11:37 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City with the Rev. David Shores officiating. Burial will follow at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.
There will be no visitation.
For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Sledge family in memory of Russell L. Sledge and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
