Webber Homecoming

Webber Township High School has announced its 2009-10 Homecoming King and Queen candidates. The theme this year is “Phantom of the Opera” with theme colors of red and black. The Homecoming Dance is scheduled for Dec. 12 from 7 to 11 p.m. in the high school gym. Coronation will be held at 7 p.m. Pictured are, back row, from left: King candidates Kody Withrow, Kyle Langa, Jeremy Hefner and Doug Johnson; front row: Queen candidates Karin Hathaway, Kaisi Dye, Kristen Parks and Michelle Summers.

    Robert and Loris Butterfield were among a large crowd making their way through the 24th Annual Herb and Garden Show at Times Square Mall Friday afternoon. Hours today are 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event is sponsored by Herbs for Health and Fun Club and Mt. Vernon Convention and Visitors Bureau.
