MT. VERNON — — A two-vehicle accident shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Salem Road and Gaskins Alley resulted in this SUV landing on its top. Police said the motorist failed to stop at the intersection and was clipped by an eastbound vehicle. The second vehicle then struck a third vehicle, which was westbound on Gaskins. No injuries were reported.
