Robbery suspect Jeffrey Wilson, 41, of Waltonville, appeared in Jefferson Circuit Court on Tuesday for arraignment.
Wilson was scheduled for arraignment last week but told Judge Barry Vaughan that he would be seeking private counsel. Assistant Public Defender Todd Ringel was appointed to represent Wilson during his first appearance hearing.
Wilson appeared on Tuesday with attorney William Margulis of St. Louis. Wilson pleaded innocent to all charges and a pre-trial hearing was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 19.
Wilson has been charged with armed robbery, a Class X felony, and two counts each of financial institution robbery and aggravated robbery, Class 1 felonies.
Wilson is a suspect in the Nov. 27 robbery of Community First Bank of the Heartland in Woodlawn, and in the Dec. 10 robbery of the Jefferson County Schools Credit Union.
Wilson had requested his bond of $500,000 be reduced, although Margulis did not make a formal request for a bond reduction during Tuesday’s hearing, according to court officials.
Two other suspects have been implicated in the Credit Union robbery. Wilson’s wife, Jessia Wilson, 30, and Amy Ramsey, 27, all of Waltonville, have pre-trial hearings scheduled for Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, respectively.
Jessica Wilson has pleaded innocent to charges of financial institution robbery and two counts of aggravated robbery. She is represented by attorney Scott Quinn.
Ramsey, charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of financial institution robbery, is being represented by Public Defender Sean Feathurstun.
