MT. VERNON - —
An armed robbery at a second Huck's location took place early Saturday.
Mt. Vernon police say a dark-skinned subject with a small silver revolver robbed the Huck's gas station at Broadway and Second Street at about 3:50 a.m. Saturday.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, information states.
The suspect was wearing a gray zip-up hooded jacket with white and black stripes on the upper chest. He or she was also wearing a black bandana with white designs over the mouth, a pink watch or bracelet on the left wrist, and a purple bracelet on the right wrist, information states. The suspect was wearing a red shirt under the hooded shirt, and dark blue jeans, information states.
The Mt. Vernon Police Department is asking anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect to call 242-2727 or Jefferson County Crime Stoppers at 242-TIPS.
Crime Stoppers callers will remain anonymous and may receive a cash reward if an arrest is made as a result of their tip.
