McGuire Anniversary

MT. VERNON — Mr. and Mrs. John (Jack) McGuire of Salem will celebrate their 25th anniversary on May 10.

The former Leslie Threatt of Belle Rive and John (Jack) McGuire, formerly of Streeter, were married on May 10, 1986, at Sugar Camp Missionary Baptist Church south of Belle Rive. The Rev. Kenneth Holland officiated.

Leslie is the daughter of Janice Threatt of Belle Rive and the late J.R. Threatt. Jack is the son of the late Pauline and Thomas McGuire of Streeter.

The McGuires are the parents of five children, Patrick McGuire, who is a student at Columbia University in New York, Daniel McGuire, a student at Illinois Wesleyan in Normal, Kathleen Mc-Guire, a student at Salem High School, John McGuire, a student at the Math and Science Academy in Aurora, and Michael McGuire, a student at St. Theresa’s School in Salem.

The McGuires will celebrate their anniversary with family and friends. Cards would be appreciated.
