Mr. and Mrs. John Phillips will be observing their 60th anniversary.
They were married Sept. 29, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
They are the parents of a son, Jack Phillips and wife Debbie; a grandson, Josh and wife Amber; and great-grandchildren Brooklynn, Bailey and Brodie of Mt. Vernon; a son, Randy Phillips and wife Cathy; a grandson, Randy Jr.; and granddaughter Rhian Bowling and husband Marco; great-grandchildren, Aveyona and Zavier of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Patti Cook and husband John; a grandson, Matt; and great-grandchildren, Louie and Bo of Belle Rive.
There will be a dinner served at their home on Saturday by their family. Friends are welcome.
