MT. VERNON —
Tom and Cathy Rector of Altamont announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Kacie Briann, to Thomas Blaine Trexler.
Kacie graduated from Altamont High School in 2005 and from Murray State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree of science in communication disorders and sciences. She graduated in 2011 with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. Grandparents of the future bride are Carol Rector and the late Glen Rector of Mt. Vernon and Susie Brannon and the late Gene Brannon of Salem.
Blaine is the son of Angela Johnson of Draffenville, Ky., and Charles and Stacie Trexler of Pineapple, Ala. Blaine is a 2005 graduate of Marshall County High School in Kentucky. He graduated in 2010 from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree of science in computer science. He is employed at the Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, Tenn. Grandparents of the future groom are Andy and Susan Sedlock, Scott and Ellen Sollomon and Norma Norman. Great-grandparents are Thomas and Jackie Vernier.
A Sept. 22 wedding is planned at Lovett Auditorium on the campus of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
