Charles Thomas “Tom” Uselton Jr., 54, of Dahlgren, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2012, at 11:55 p.m. at his home.
He was born June 2, 1958, in Eldorado, to Charles Thomas Uselton Sr. and Mary Ellen (Hutcheson) Uselton.
He married Pamela Vickery and she survives.
He was a re-builder of heavy equipment with Joy Manufacturing Company in Mt. Vernon.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by daughters Heather (husband Fred) Luck of Vacaville, Calif., and Christina Uselton of Dahlgren; step-daughter, Mitzi (husband Brian) Neal of McLeansboro; and five grandchildren, Lily Uselton, Willow Cross, Makenna Neal, Nate Neal and Abe Neal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with the Rev. Dustin Haile officiating. A graveside burial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Westwood Cemetery at Shawneetown.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Dahlgren Baptist Church or the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
