Mary L. Frazier, 85, of Wayne City, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born on July 14, 1927, to Fred and Fern (Barringer) Shelton. She married Donald L. Frazier on April 20, 1946, in Morganfield, Ky. He survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mary "Sherry" Webber and husband Bill of Dahlgren; one son, Roger and wife Glenda (Gargas) Frazier of Ashley; four grandsons, David Webber and wife Shannon of Murphysboro, Brent Webber and wife Kelly of Lexington, Ky., Richard Frazier and wife Re'nee of Tamaroa; one granddaughter, Melissa Hutchcraft of Fairfield.
She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Emma, Owen and Riley Webber; Tyler and Ashlyn Frazier; J'ne Collins; and Kayla Valentine. Also surviving are sisters Bonnie Austin of Owensville, Ind., Dorthey Talbert of Sims, Cathy Hunter of Wayne City, and one brother, Dale Shelton of Carbondale; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Shelton of Wayne City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruth Feather and Helen Fleener; and one brother Fred Shelton.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family and her church family. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, south of Wayne City. She served as a janitor along with her husband, Don for many years. She was very involved in community activities.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Olive Branch Baptist Church with visitation at the church starting at 11 a.m. until time of the funeral.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Carmi and will be accepted at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.
Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She died from liver failure due to a tumor-like mass in her liver. At the time of her death she had lived more than 16 years at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor, longer than any other resident.
