Loren Nadolski, 54, of Woodlawn, died at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in Woodlawn.
He was born Wednesday, July 9, 1958, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Lawrence and Elsie Scott (Turner) Nadolski. He married Jean Marie Dennis on March 14, 1982, in Mt. Vernon.
Loren was an electrician, a plumber and “a darn good car mechanic”. He loved playing his acoustic guitar, loved all his grandchildren unconditionally, was a “jack of all trades” and an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He formerly served in the Marine Corps and was a saved Christian. He was well-loved and a good friend to all. He will be missed.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Lawrence and Judy Nadolski of Woodlawn; mother, Elsie Scott of Mt. Vernon; wife, Jean Marie Nadolski of Woodlawn; daughters, Victoria Loss and husband Michael of Dix and Amber Nadolski of Martinez, Ga.; son, Caleb Nadolski of Dix; brothers, Lloyd Nadolski of Mt. Vernon and Larry Nadolski of Mt. Vernon; sister, Becky Crider and husband Gary of Woodlawn; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Williams.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in McClellan Township, Jefferson County, with Pastor Dan Harriman officiating. Interment will be at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in McClellan Township, Jefferson County.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
