MT. VERNON —
Rebecca Jo “Becky” Anselment age 65 of Blue Eye, Mo., passed away 12:38 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.
Becky was born a daughter of Bernard “Banty” and Myrtle (Wilhelm) Mann on Dec. 21, 1946, in Shawneetown. She married George “Nick” Anselment Jr. on Dec. 19, 1994, in Harrison, Ariz.: He survives in Blue Eye, Mo.
Becky attended the Cedar Valley Church in Hollister, Mo. She had owned and operated the Old Time Photos in Branson, Mo. Becky was currently working as a sales associate at Sally’s Beauty Supply in Branson, Mo.
She is survived by her husband, George “Nick” Anselment Jr. of Blue Eye, Mo.; daughter, Robin Rosendohl and fiancé Bill Knowles of Chester; two step-sons, Curtis Anselment and wife Angie of Mt. Vernon and Terry Anselment of Seattle, Wash.; step-daughter, Tara and husband Jason Trumbo of Ankeny, Iowa; brother, Troy Mann of Saint Louis; two sisters, Norma Dalpiaz of Shawneetown, and Connie and husband Bill Fals of Ridgway; two grandchildren, Nadine Rosendohl and Raelyn Rosendohl; four sister-in-laws, Dorothy Fairchild, Shirley Pontious, Karen and husband Johnnie Nelson, and Kathy and husband Terry Arnett.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodlawn; Pastor Ted Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Robert L. Mann and her son, David Potter.
For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to the funeral home.
