Betty Lou Anderson, 83, of Mt. Vernon, died 6:55 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born Friday, Feb. 15, 1929, in Mt. Vernon, daughter of Everette and Gladys Huff.
Betty Lou was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by daughters, Diane Berg of Doolittle, Mo. and Debby Crouch and husband Ray of Rolla, Mo.; sons, Jim Anderson and wife Eva of St. Charles, Mo. and John Anderson and wife Vickie of St. Claire, Mo.; sisters, Willadean Huff Paige and husband Warren of Aurora and Linda Huff Ilbery and husband Harry of Mt. Vernon; brother, Frank Huff and wife Wanda of Bluford; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Steve Anderson.
In honor of Betty Lou’s wishes, she will be cremated and no public service will be held. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
