Irma Anna Robinson, 88, of Dix, died 9:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Centralia Manor in Centralia with her family at her side.
She was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Centralia, the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Tiemann) Klingenberg. She married Harry T. Robinson June 15, 1944, in Princeton, Ind.; he preceded her in death.
She was employed at Centralia Apparel/Miss Elaine's until her retirement. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Texico.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two daughters, Dianne Clark and husband Joe of Henderson, Texas and Connie Connaway and husband Bill of Mt. Vernon; a son, Tom Robinson and fiance Renie Rogers of Centralia; five grandchildren, Bobby Clark and wife Yvonne of Henderson, Texas, Chad Clark and wife Angie of Henderson, Texas, Justin Connaway of Dix, Felicia Mayo and husband Nathan of Toelton, Tenn., and Chris Robinson of Breese; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a brother.
As per her wishes, she was cremated. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Rome Meadows Apartments.
Interment of her cremains will take place at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Antioch Christian Church and will be received at the service or mailed to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, IL 62830.
