Nadene Cralley, 88, of Mt. Vernon and a former resident of Bloomington, died at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Fred and Clara Pearl (Roberson) Bain. She married Clifton Earl Cralley in Herndon, Miss.; he preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 2012.
Nadene was a retired inspector from General Electric in Bloomington.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Kaeb and husband David of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Dawn Huerd and husband Mike of Roseville, Calif., and Darin Kaeb of Zeeland, Mich.; five great-grandchildren, Lauren Huerd and fiance Matt Barvam Hayley Huerd, Cassidy Kaeb, Sydney Kaeb and Peyton Kaeb; two brothers, Leroy Bain and wife Mary of Tewksbury, Mass., and Thomas Bain of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Joan Dixon and husband Melvin of Twin Falls, Idaho, Euldean Cralley and husband Donald of Mt. Vernon and Laura Belle Leffler of Mt. Vernon; brother-in-law Charles Cralley of Mt. Vernon; and also three sisters-in-law, Betty Bain of Brownsville, Texas, June Holcomb of Gainesville, Ga., and Anita Burris of Hephzibah, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton; four brothers, Ishmel Bain and wife Frances, Edward Bain and wife Louis, Raymond Bain and Ronald Bain; and one sister-in-law, Joyce Bain.
As per Nadene’s wishes, no services will be held.
