Eva June "Steimel" Lawton, 89, of Peoria, Ariz., passed away on Feb. 20, 2013.
She was born in Creal Springs, a daughter of Lawrence and Nettie (Pennington) Mc Intire. She moved to Arizona 62 years ago.
Eva June is survived by her beloved husband, William E. "Bill" Lawton; sons, James (Alicia) Steimel and Thomas Steimel; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two nieces, Jo Ann and husband Doug Williams and Martha and husband Herb Newell; and one nephew, Jon Michael Mc Intire.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Leala Schelosky and two brothers, Carl and Clelle Mc Intire.
A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with funeral service starting at 3 p.m. at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Ariz.
