MT. VERNON —
Erin Lee Osborn, 56, of Mt. Vernon, died 3:20 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his home in Mt. Vernon.
He was born Friday, Dec. 7, 1956, in Mt. Vernon, son of Charles Francis and JoAnn (Hunt) Osborn.
Erin was a stone mason and quite the handyman. He was a 49ers fan who loved his family and his children.
He is survived by mother, JoAnn Osborn of Mt. Vernon; son, Ian Osborn of Belleville; daughter, Danielle Osborn of Belleville; sister, Vicki Lynn and husband Robert of Fairfield; grandson, Logan Lee Wiggs of Belleville; two nephews, Caleb Davis of Fairfield and Christopher Rice and wife Jamie of Olathe, Kan.; and two nieces, Gigi Rice of Roeland Park, Kan. and Michelle Moorer of Lexington, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Gary Osborn and Francis Todd Osborn; and one sister, Kim Nelson.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Jefferson County with Mr. Randy Steele officiating. Interment will be at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Jefferson County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
