Andreas Kritikos


Andreas N. “Andy” Kritikos, 35, of McLeansboro, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at his home.

He was born in Harvey March 19, 1974, a son of Nicholas Kritikos and Judy G. (Aud) Kritikos Will. He was a fork lift operator for Larson Warehouse Storm Doors Company in Nashville.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Andy is survived by his father, Nicholas Kritikos of Mentone, Ind.; his mother, Judy Will and husband Larry of McLeansboro; sisters, Tammy Katsenis and husband Jim “Jimmy” of Whiting, Ind., Eva Peroulas and husband Kosta of Chicago and Giasemi Karnes of McLeansboro; maternal grandmother, Violet Veatch of McLeansboro; two step-daughters, Kindra York and husband Eric of McLeansboro and Kyla Webb and husband Lucas of McLeansboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Jacob Karnes; and a former brother-in-law, Gregory Spurlock.

Andy was a former member of the McLeansboro Eagles Lodge and enjoyed competing in martial arts programs. He was formerly married to Lynn Spurlock.
