Adeleide Pero

Ms. Adeleide Pero, of Nashville, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at 11:11 a.m. She had attained the age of 97 years, 3 months and 6 days.



Ms. Pero was born on July 15, 1912, at Blissville Township, Jefferson County, the daughter of Michael J. and Pelagia (Postman) Pero. Adeleide was a homemaker and a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom.



Left to mourn her passing are her two sisters, Irene Gajewski of Waterloo and Evangeline Schoolman of St. Louis; three nieces; a nephew; 11 great-nieces and nephews; 11 great-great-nieces and nephews; and other relations and friends.



She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Conrad and Aloysius Pero; and a nephew.



Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Robert Zwilling officiating and with interment in the St. Michael’s cemetery at Radom.



Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until the service hour.



The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.



In lieu of flowers mass offerings or memorials can be given to the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer



Society and will be accepted at the Campagna Funeral Home.
