June Sisk

June Sisk, 63, of Broughton, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.



She was born in Florida on May 18, 1946. She married James W. Sisk, and he preceded her in death. She served as a home care aide for Addus Health Care, Inc.



June was a member of Broughton Baptist Church, the Star of Egypt and the Baptist Missionary Association.



Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. David Angelly officiating. Interment will follow at Gholson Cemetery near Broughton.



Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at the funeral home.

June is survived by a son, James W. Sisk of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Jennifer Strayhorn of Paducah, Ky., and Trixie Stephenson of San Angelo, Texas; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
