Theresa Ann Wilkerson, 59, of Belle Rive and formally of Sesser, passed away on Oct. 28, 2009, at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was born in Tiptonville, Tenn., on July 4, 1950, a daughter of Glenn and Joyce (Connell) Mathis. She was a homemaker.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser with Brother Bret Bone officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Theresa is survived by her children, Phillip Wilkerson of Sesser and Hiram Jones of Sesser; step-children, Harold Kemmerling of Mt. Vernon, Keith Kemmerling of Carterville and Lori Melvin of Benton; three grandchildren; brother and sister, Kathern Clausen of Hurst and Lonnie Gaylor of Sesser; and Harold Kemmerling of Belle Rive, her companion for several years.
