Perry Kehrer

Perry Edwin Kehrer, formerly of Belle Rive, died at his home in Robert Lee, Texas, on Oct. 4, 2009, at the age of 74 years.



Perry was the son of Edwin Mike Kehrer and Annabelle (Underwood) Kehrer, born Oct. 18, 1934, in Belle Rive. Perry was the husband of Jo (Kitchens) Kehrer, with whom he was united in marriage on Feb. 2, 2000.



Perry retired from the Air Force in 1979, after serving mainly in intelligence units of the Air Force. He served in many places and won many awards during his time in the service. Perry also had many years of higher education, earning numerous degrees.



Perry was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother, Donald Ted Kehrer.



He is survived by his wife, Jo; two brothers, Joseph Martin Kehrer and wife Carmen of Joliet and Richard Lee Kehrer and wife Betty of Anderson, Calif.; a sister, Helen Faye (Kehrer) Troutt and husband Edward of Opdyke; several nephews and nieces; as well as many cousins.



Arrangements for the interment were taken care of by the local funeral home of Robert Lee, Texas, and he was laid to rest in the Robert Lee Cemetery in Texas following graveside services.
