John C. Weaver, 67, of McLeansboro, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his home.
He was born in West Frankfort on May 12, 1942, a son of Cecil A. and Clara Pauline (Sneed) Vaughn Weaver. He was a retired farm hand.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Biggerstaff officiating. Interment will follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday.
John is survived by his mother, Clara Pauline Vaughn of McLeansboro; and a sister, Joyce Little and husband Douglas of Ignacio, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil A. Weaver.
John was a member of Hamilton County Farm Bureau, AARP, Wayne-White County Electric Cooperative and Temple Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
