Mt. Vernon’s wrestling team placed ninth at the Mascoutah Invitational on Saturday.
The Rams finished with 95.5 points, and O’Fallon won the invitational with 187 points.
Mt. Vernon’s Alex Vosburgh won the 160-pound championship and was voted the meet’s outstanding wrestler. Chase Vosburgh (160 pounds) placed second. Tristan Penrod (195) finished third, and Kalen Roberts (106) was sixth.
