MT. VERNON — YMCA spring soccer is here! Kinder/Youth spring soccer registration is underway at the YMCA of Jefferson County.
The Kinder League, for those age four through kindergarten, will have a registration fee of $30 for members and $30 for non-members, while the Youth (first through eighth grade) fee is $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
Registration will run through March 26th, and financial assistance is available from the United Way of Jefferson County.
The Kinder/Youth league will run from April 10-May 22, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church.
Registration may be completed at YMCA of Jefferson County, 1304 Broadway, and for more information, call 242-5345.
MOVE IT FITNESS FOR KIDS
MT. VERNON — YMCA of Jefferson County is beginning an exercise program for children.
Move It Fitness for Kids (jump rope, tumbling, aerobics, etc.) will run every Wednesday at 4 p.m. Children (ages 7-12) are encouraged to attend. Parents may participate with their children.
This three-month program is a free service to the community with financial assistance from the United Way of Jefferson County.
