The Rend Lake College mens basketball team topped South Suburban on Wednesday night in the NJCAA Division II Mens National Tournament.
The Warriors won the game 85-83 in overtime after erasing a double-digit halftime deficit.
Woodlawn graduate Bronson Verhines had 13 points and 13 rebounds. His brother, Dawson, added eight points.
Jeril Taylor led the team with 19 and was one of four players in double figures.
The Warriors play for a spot in the championship game at 6 p.m. Friday.
