OKAWVILLE —
Woodlawn’s boys basketball team lost the championship of the Okawville Tournament to the host team 71-63 in overtime.
Kris Harlow led the Cardinals with 18 points. Gabe Owens finished with 12, and Chase Phelps added 11. Jake Robinson had eight points. Jayson Hapeman and Logan Isaac both finished with six each.
Gabe Owens led the Cardinals with six rebounds. Harlow and Isaac both had five each.
Okawville took a 21-15 lead into halftime. Woodlawn rallied in the second half and pushed the game into overtime. Okawville outscored the Cardinals 16-8 in the extra session.
