Three Rams named to South 7 All-Conference team

MT. VERNON — A trio of Mt. Vernon boys basketball players were recognized on the South Seven All-Conference teams this season.

Michael Feezer was named to the second team. Trevor Flota and Jake Pike were both named honorable mention.

Cahokia’s Keenan Minor was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

The first team was Darius Austin (Cahokia), Kevin Renner (Althoff), Jake Wood (Centralia), Devontavius Payne (Carbondale) and Vincent Jackson (Cahokia).

The second team in addition to Feezer was Carleton Rivers (Cahokia), Jerrod Simmons-Young (Centralia), Keenan Young (Althoff) and Brant Hill (Marion).

In addition to Pike and Flota, Derenzo Jennings (Cahokia), Shamarc Bursey (Carbondale), Jawan Tucker (Marion) and Chase Alcorn (Centralia) were named honorable mention.
