MARION — Gage Cummins shot a 38 and Bryce Kujawa added a 40 to lead the Mt. Vernon boys golf team to a 161-178 win at Marion on Thursday.
Nick Green shot a 41 for the Rams, while Logan Murphy finished with a 42.
The Rams also won the junior varsity match, 181-196, getting a 44 from Jordan McKelvy and a 45 from Peter Walker.
Seth Bullard and Brennan Cox each shot a 46 for the Mt. Vernon JV squad.
Other scores for Mt. Vernon included Lucas Eastep with a 48, Josh Donoho with a 50, Mason Garner with a 57 and Noah Greenwalt with a 58.
The Rams compete in the Centralia Invitational on Saturday.
