Freshman bowler Seth Gass of Mt. Vernon Township High School accomplished an individual feat of a lifetime on Monday, rolling a perfect 300 game.
It was the first perfect game for the Mt. Vernon bowling team since it was established several years ago, according to coach David Wagner. Wagner’s son, Maverick, rolled a 299 two years ago, his father reported.
With games of 300, 221 and 204, Gass led the Rams with a 725 series.
Mt. Vernon lost the match by four pins, with the Terriers rolling a 2,904 to Mt. Vernon’s 2,900.
