Woodlawn hammers Clay City by 40

CLAY CITY — Woodlawn’s boys basketball team dominated Clay City 80-40 Friday night.

Gabe Owens and Kris Harlow both finished with 16 points each to pace the Woodlawn offense. Logan Isaac added 13. Jake Robinson and Matt Kennedy had eight each.

The Cardinals started the game strong and took a 25-5 lead after the opening quarter. Woodlawn went into halftime with a 45-18 edge.

Woodlawn is 24-3 this season and 10-0 in the Midland Trail Conference.
