Body found of Villa Ridge man

EAST ST. LOUIS — WICKLIFFE, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky authorities have identified a body found in the Ohio River as that of a southern Illinois man.

The victim was 68-year-old James Larry Boyd of Villa Ridge, Ill. Ballard County Deputy Coroner Mark Claxton ruled Boyd's death accidental.

According to The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/P6dMJ4 ), Boyd and another man were fishing near Lock and Dam 53 Tuesday when their 16-foot johnboat overturned. A nearby fisherman rescued the other man from Boyd's boat.

Authorities believe Boyd might have been knocked unconscious when the boat flipped, knocking both men into the turbulent water.
