CHICAGO — Gov. Pat Quinn is gearing up for his annual trip to Germany to deliver cards to service members at a medical center.
He's scheduled to leave Wednesday and return over the weekend. The Chicago Democrat has traveled to Germany more than half a dozen times over the years.
He will personally deliver cards written by Illinois residents when he visits service members at the Landstuhl (LAHND'-shtool) Regional Medical Center.
Quinn says he may also make time to meet with German businesses and encourage them to relocate to Illinois.
