MT. VERNON — — Evansville Western Railroad crews work to close the railroad crossing at Seventh Street south of Mt. Vernon Township High School on Wednesday. The closure was originally scheduled for Dec. 27, 2012, but due to snow and weather was pushed back to Wednesday.
